250kW project in France

Solar2Wave pilot in Indonesia

HelioRec is proud to announce the successful installation of a 250 kW floating solar power plant in France. This fully commercial project marks a major milestone for the company, showcasing the scalability and effectiveness of floating solar technology in generating renewable energy.

A Pioneering Floating Solar Project

The project is installed on a large water body and integrates advanced energy components, including inverters, DC, and AC boxes, directly onto the floating platform. These components are essential for converting and managing the solar energy produced by the panels. Despite the challenges of working in a water-based environment, HelioRec successfully adapted the systems for stable, efficient operation.

Overcoming Technical and Environmental Challenges

Floating solar installations present unique engineering challenges, from securing the platform to the waterbed to ensuring the electrical infrastructure remains safe and functional. The floating platform was carefully anchored and designed to manage the natural movements of water. This ensures optimal energy generation while minimizing environmental impact, such as reducing water evaporation and preserving valuable land for other uses.

A New Era of Renewable Energy

With the 250 kW plant now operational and feeding clean energy into the grid, HelioRec has demonstrated the potential of floating solar as a reliable, scalable solution for the future. The project highlights our commitment to innovation and sustainability, as we continue to push the boundaries of what’s possible in renewable energy.

This installation paves the way for more large-scale floating solar projects worldwide, helping to accelerate the transition to a greener, more sustainable energy future.
